Feisty Female Friday: Sunny Hostin
The FFF this week is Sunny Hostin.

Asuncion Sunny Hostin is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, lawyer, author, and television host. She was born in NYC, is of Afro-Spanish ancestry, and started her career as a law clerk, trial attorney, and became a federal prosecutor for the Justice Department specializing in child sex crimes.
Sunny began her television career as a commentator for Court and Fox television and also worked at CNN and ABC news and is the co-host of The View. She has hosted and executive-produced the six-episode documentary series Truth About Murder With Sunny Hoskin on Investigation on the Channel and hosted a podcast titled Have You Seen This Man?
Sunny released two books, I Am These Truths, a memoir, and Summer on the Bluffs, a novel, which will be adapted into a television series, with her as the executive-producer.
She has won an Emmy along with her colleagues on The View and is active in social justice, domestic violence prevention, and youth education causes. She serves on the Board of Safe Horizons, Soul Stroll, Urban Pathways, Born This Way Foundation, the Bronx Children’s Museum, HELP USA, and Safe Haven Farm Sanctuary.
Sonny is married, the mom of two children, and resides in NY.
