Feisty Female Friday: Kate Winslet
The FFF this week is Kate Winslet.

Kate is an actress who was born in England. She began studying drama at Theatre School where she appeared in many productions.
She made her film debut in Heavenly Creatures and earned her first Oscar nomination for Sense and Sensibility. In Titanic, Kate earned seven Academy Award nominations and won a Best Actress Academy Award for her role in The Reader. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for choosing complex roles, frequently portraying headstrong, unconventional, feisty women in films such as Sense and Sensibility, Mare of Easttown, Hamlet, Ophelia, Quills, Enigma, Finding Neverland, Little Children, The Holiday, Revolutionary Road, Mildred Pierce, Contagion, Divergent, The Dressmaker, Steve Jobs, and Avatar.
She has won Academy, BAFTA, SAG, Grammy, Golden Globe, and Primetime Emmy Awards. Kate has also been Named Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to drama, supports Family Haven, many relief charities, co-founded the Golden Hat Foundation, supports PETA, UNICEF, global warming initiatives, AIDS initiatives, and Save the Children. Kate even has a species of beetle named after her.
Kate has three children, is married and lives in the England countryside.
