Feisty Female Friday: Anne Hathway
The FFF this week is Anne Hathaway.

Anne was born in NY. Her mother was a stage actress and when she toured with her mother during a production of Les Misérables, she then decided to pursue a career in theater.
At the age of 16, she landed her first television role on the family drama Get Real. After graduating from high school Anne began to pursue film work. Her big-screen debut came with The Princess Diaries, the movie’s sequel, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, and soon played another fairy-tale role in Ella Enchanted. Her versatile acting career has included comedy, dramas, and major films including roles in Brokeback Mountain, The Devil Wears Prada, Becoming Jane, Rachel Getting Married, Bride Wars, Valentine’s Day, Alice in Wonderland, Rio, The Dark Knight Rises, and the film version of the musical Les Misérables.
She received an Academy Award for best supporting actress in the film adaptation of the musical Les Misérables. Ann has also won Golden Globe, BAFA, and a Primetime Emmy Awards and is well known for being a versatile actress.
Anne has been a vocal advocate of women’s rights, gender equality and LGBTQ+rights. She has served as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, is children’s health and welfare advocate, works with the Lollipop Theater, and Clinton Foundation.
Anne lives in CA and NY with her husband and two sons and is expecting her third child.
