Feisty Female Friday: Patricia
The FFF this week is Patricia.

It was an exciting day for all feisty ladies, when she was arrested in front of an ICE building in Portland. The charge was obstructing access to a federal facility. Patricia was dragged off by three-armed DHS officers, handcuffed, and held for almost an hour, a 75-yea-old, 5’2”, 120-pound white woman. Being a feisty woman, instead of cringing and crying, she made fun of the agents, how being arrested and handcuffed ticked off another item on her bucket list. Patricia recorded it all on video and cannot wait to show it to the judge.
Her defiance of ICE drew overwhelming praise from FB followers of the writer of this article. It was totally inappropriate to accuse this woman of obstructing the entrance to ICE even though she protests weekly, walking back and forth in front of the building. While no corporate media has picked up her story, it’s up to each of us to do the same as she did. Be a feisty woman like Patricia and stand up for the rights of those wrongly accused, arrested, and deported. The world really needs us now. Your words and actions really do matter.
Her words say it all. She reminds us to always show respect for the rule of law and for others because if you don’t, you are contributing to the culture of hate and violence in our country right now. Patricia is grateful that she wasn’t thrown to the ground or suffered more than a bit of tenderness in her shoulders and neck. The thugs weren’t happy that she refused to cower or be intimidated and neither should you, feisty women.
Be a Patricia every day. Stand up for what is right, honorable, and moral. Our country is depending on you to always do the right thing.
