I agree that we need more kind words in our world today. Someone the other day almost ran me over while I was crossing the street in the crosswalk. He started yelling at me and my silent response to him spoke volumes. As he finished his rant, he paused and then apologized, which I accepted, and then shared a few details of his terrible day. I let him know that his kindness to me was the start of a better day. He nodded, smiled, thanked me, and drove on. Words have meaning so use kind words always. You never know who really needs them.
