Feisty Female Friday: Sandra Bullock

This week’s FFF is Sandra Bullock.

Sandra, an American actress and producer, was born in VA and grew up on the road with her musician parents. She spent much of her childhood in Germany, often performing in the children's chorus at her mother’s musical events. Her family moved back to the US when she was teenager.

Sandra studied acting and performed in many college theater productions. After college, she moved to NY to pursue a career on the stage, acting in many feature films such as Speed, While You Were Sleeping, A Time to Kill, and Hope Floats. More successes followed in two Miss Congeniality films, The Proposal, The Heat, Ocean's 8, Practical Magic, The Prince of Egypt, Gravity, Minions, Bird Box, The Lost City, Bullet Train, and in the upcoming Practical Magic 2.

She ranks as one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood and was once listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the highest-paid actress in the world. In addition to acting, Sandra has her production company, Fortis Films., which produced some of her movies.

Sandra has also won Saturn, MTV Movie, Raul Julia, SAG, Women in Film, Academy, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, BAFTA, and Critics' Choice Awards. She has also been named Entertainer of the Year and earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
She is a supporter of the ARC, The Liberty Disaster Relief Fund, has donated to many environmental causes, Doctors Without Borders, AIDS Research, and Tuesday’s Children.

Sandra is divorced, has one son, and lives in CA, NY, TX, and LA.
