Feisty Female Friday: Kristin Chenoweth
The FFF this week is Kristin Chenoweth.

Kristin is an American stage, screen and television actress. She was born in OK and studied musical theater and vocal performance at OCU where she still teaches master classes and serves as an artist-in-residence. Kristin began her career in musicals, plays on and off-Broadway, and on television shows and in movies.
Kristin was awarded a Tony Award for her performance in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown” and was the originator of "Glinda" role in the musical "Wicked". She also starred in "Promises, Promises,” had a performance with the Metropolitan Opera, and has performed with many orchestras around the world. Kristin’s television performances include Pushing Daisies, in the comedy, Kristin, The West Wing, Ugly Betty, and had a recurring role on Glee, in Christmas movies, and in Running with Scissors. In addition to recording eight studio albums, she has also lent her voice to several to animated features and is also an author of her memoir and a children’s book. Her recent acapella performance of the National Anthem was met with positive accolades. She was inducted into the OK State Hall of Fame and has won Tony and Emmy Awards.
She is very open about her adoption and supports adoption causes and organizations around in the US and around the world. Kristin has established the Kristin Chenoweth Arts & Education Fund to support young artists and provide them with performance opportunities in the arts. Additionally, she founded "Maddie's Corner" to help animals and people, inspired by her adopted dog, Maddie.
Kristin is married and spends her time in NY and LA. We all hope that her diminutive stature and big voice continues to fill the world with songs for many years to come.
